Jesus avoided toxic situations where His peace of heart and soul would be disturbed and offended. Jesus was modeling for us that sometimes love requires stepping back. Sometimes loving someone means stepping away.

We have heart knowledge that we need God, but often we miss the point that in a relationship, it is a two-way street, even with God. God needs us just like He needed Jesus.

God’s silence is not a sign of my failure. It is a promise of God’s grace. God has found my soul a worthy meadow in which to plant new seeds.

What difference does it make if the bread and wine become the Body and Blood of Christ if we don’t?

Without a doubt, we do not have faith. We have facts.

The tomb is not necessary for the divine nature of Jesus. The divine nature of Jesus could have been raised immediately. The tomb is essential for the human nature of Jesus.

May Your will be done in me. Allow Your Love for me and my Love for them to carry me to that final moment when it is finished.

Love doesn’t run out or get used up. The Love of God and the Love of those we have lost to death multiply. It strengthens, and it intensifies every time we give it away.

God wants to light the fire in our belly that we cannot turn away from. He calls us into the light. When we fall in love with God, the fire of love explodes in our souls.
