Wiithout a doubt, God absolutely wants a faith that is more than an inch deep.

Faith is about allowing the divinity of God to possess me enough that my life — that I —become a window into the heart of God.

Like the Kings, we go back to our lives by a different route, knowing we are changed when we see with clear eyes the fullness of the humanity and divinity of Jesus. 

We are commanded to do as Jesus did and welcome saints and sinners to the family and the table of the Lord. 

Will we have the love, courage, and faith of a 14-year-old girl in Nazareth?

Being happy is to stop feeling a victim and becoming the author of your own destiny.

Jesus’ gift of peace is vibrant and powerful. It is not intended to bring a state of sedation.

We come into this Advent in a broken world and a fractured nation. We seek peace, respect, understanding, and a world where everyone is honored and respected.

Having a life stance that impels us to embrace the poor and respond to their needs is an attitude that is planted and grows in our souls. Some of us tend the seed of God within us, and some let it wither.

For us, our churches, our communities, and most significantly, in our hearts, we pray for the blameless, whatever name they carry.
