Just think, God loves and trusts me enough to depend on me!

The world’s peace is temporary, Jesus’ peace is eternal.

What Jesus is promising in this reading is a mutuality of love. He promises a two-way street of loving.

“All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.” St. Julian of Norwich

The decisions these two men made to betray and deny Jesus aren’t the most important part. What is most important is what they did next.

We can love Jesus extravagantly. That is how God loves us, and we can do the same for Jesus this week.

May Your will be done in me.

Jesus is the floodlight of God on our earth.
