We somehow think our lack of forgiveness is a punishment for the other person. In reality, it is a burden we heap on ourselves.

We need to always be attentive to where the light is shining.

Being humble enough to let God complete me is being perfect. An attitude of complete surrender to the Father of who we are – the good and the bad, the beautiful and the ugly, chips and cracks is perfection at its finest. It makes us one with God.

We cannot legislate peace. No law will force it, demand it, or ensure it. Peace comes from a place far different than the rules of society.

Our Eucharistic Liturgy is not “just another ritual.” It is God embracing the world in the most intimate and personal way possible, by becoming one with us.

Saint Anthony can be an inspiration for all those who find themselves with their lives turned upside down. When life takes us in new and unexpected directions, Saint Anthony can be a guide of one who traveled that road before us.

The whisper of God will only be heard when we quiet the noise both outside and within ourselves and listen. And God answers our prayer.
