  1. I am very sorry that there are no more online masses. Besides COVID, things have changed in my life and physically going to Mass is hard on me. My husband’s vascular dementia has progressed and I only bring him with me to doctors, dentists, pharmacy and grocery shopping. He has no patience and we cannot have any morning appointments or we do not sleep at all the night before. He wants to leave the house 1 – 1 1/2 hours before the appointment time and when we get there early, wonders why he’s waiting. We can’t have any house repairs or work done because if the person is not there before the appointed time, he’s calling them, threatening, just nasty. At least with masses online, I could get him to watch TV in the other room, and attend Mass. Now I have to tune into St. Charles’. Which makes me think I have to leave the parish I’ve been in since 2001. I can’t figure out why Sacred Heart isn’t able to do what St. Charles does – via computer, I even attended a family member’s funeral about 2 years ago that took place in Mitchelstown, Co. Cork, Ireland. I thought that with the “booth” that was set up in the church, we’d be able to do this. In addition, my right knee is now so bad, I can’t sleep through the night with the pain. Three orthopedic surgeons that I saw over the last two years wouldn’t touch it. I didn’t abandon my church during the pandemic – I set up automatic payments – but now I feel left out.

  2. I’m sorry that mass is no longer online. My mother broke her hip in 3 places and is having problems getting around. She loved the mass that Dr Jerry says. Just a shame she will now miss her mass. There are a lot of people that would love to have mass. The home bound need it more now. Please reconsider doing mass on line again. Thank you.
