With the eyes of faith, with the eyes of love, we will know and experience the real presence of those we love as with us still.

Our God is not a fickle God. He does not bless or punish with illness or the weather.

The Gospel calls us to look differently at our lives and ask God to reveal the Sin that holds us bound. We need to look for the Sin that is the source of all other sins in our lives.

I wondered how arrogant to think I have a part of the faith of Jesus. Not just faith in him but faith that is one with His own faith.

If there is a message in this very well-known Gospel today, it is to cut others slack when they don’t act or respond in the most appropriate way. We don’t walk in their shoes. We don’t know their hearts. We don’t know the burdens they carry. 

The more we know God in silence, the more we will learn to live our everyday-daily lives in the truth of who God created us to be.

We need not wait for heaven to find and experience our True Self.

Our False Self continually wants to look good in the world. It is also called the small self or the ego. The False Self takes offense, compares, critiques, judges, and blames.

Prodigal means reckless abandon, wastefully extravagant, imprudent, lavish, unsparing, and bountiful. Our God is Prodigal.
